About

I'm Devin Fitzpatrick. I've run operations for the last decade — enterprise project portfolios, operational-excellence functions, and the AI systems underneath them — across healthcare delivery and administration, founder-led manufacturing, and enterprise services. What stayed constant was the work, not the industry: operations that had outgrown their systems, where my job was to build the structure and make the decisions that let them scale. Before all of that I served in the Army; it's where the accountability habit started.

I build with AI — not as a vendor selling it, but as someone who has built and run it inside real organizations under real constraints. That work has been recognized outside my own walls, including a Microsoft Copilot Champions Spotlight in 2026. The essays here are the reasoning behind how I do it.

Now I'm working toward owning a business and running it myself, through acquisition entrepreneurship. The acquisition thesis on the home page lays out exactly what I'm looking for, what I bring, and where I am in the search.

What I don't write about here: my employer specifically, individuals on my teams, or anything that would compromise the trust placed in me. The work I describe is mine to describe — the patterns and systems I've built — not the proprietary specifics of any one company's implementation.
